Sometimes, it’s difficult to inform employees of productivity initiatives. It’s not that the staffers are inattentive, it’s just the business of the day—what with deadlines, meetings and ad hoc get togethers—means focus is often elsewhere. So, when our client Fellowes needed to convey productivity tips to various companies’ employees as part of a larger workplace health campaign, it decided to Pivot.
Mindful of the challenges of garnering attention, we decided early on to grab eyes, using the stopping power of graphics as a lead in communicating to employees. First, we met with Fellowes personnel, to determine the key productivity tips and reminders they wanted to convey. Then, our copywriters stripped don’t the reams of information into entertaining and digestible chunks.
Next, our designers sketched out a narrative for infographics, keying in on the potential to use bold colors and visuals. Once approvals were secured, the team then recreated the tight pencil sketches into digital graphics, so Fellowes could use the infographics in a variety of disciplines when communicating to companies.
